Our community guidelines and code of conduct

Welcome
tempo is a community of fans sharing their concert experiences. To ensure a positive and respectful environment for everyone, we ask that all users follow these community guidelines. These guidelines apply to all content and interactions on tempo, including reviews, comments, lists, feedback, and profile information.
Be Respectful
Treat all members of the community with respect and kindness. We welcome diverse opinions and experiences. However, the following will not be tolerated:
- Personal attacks or harassment of other users
- Hate speech or discriminatory language based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
- Threats of violence or harm
- Doxxing or sharing others' private information
- Bullying or intimidation
Share Authentic Experiences
Write honest, authentic reviews based on your actual concert experiences:
- Only review shows you actually attended - do not create fake reviews
- Be honest in your ratings and descriptions, even if your opinion differs from others
- Constructive criticism is welcome, but be fair and specific
- Do not review shows on behalf of others or accept compensation for reviews
- Do not artificially inflate your review count or engagement through fake activity
Media and Content
When uploading photos and videos to your reviews:
- Only share content you own or have permission to share
- Do not post copyrighted material without authorization (e.g., professional recordings, official music videos)
- Do not upload explicit, violent, or disturbing content
- Respect the privacy of other concert-goers - avoid posting identifiable photos of others without consent
- Ensure your content is relevant to your concert experience
Lists and Curation
When creating and sharing lists:
- Create meaningful lists that add value to the community
- Do not create lists solely to promote or disparage specific artists, venues, or users
- Respect copyright when naming and describing your lists
Social Features
Use social features responsibly:
- Following: Follow users whose content you genuinely enjoy. Do not mass-follow or use follow/unfollow tactics for engagement
- Likes: Like content you genuinely appreciate. Do not use automated tools or coordinate with others to artificially boost likes
- Comments: Keep comments relevant and constructive. Disagree respectfully.
- Blocking: Use the block feature to protect yourself from unwanted interactions. Do not use it to evade accountability for your own behavior.
Badges and Achievements
Badges are earned through genuine participation:
- Do not create fake reviews, comments, or interactions to earn badges
- Do not use multiple accounts to artificially inflate your activity
- Badge manipulation may result in badge removal and account consequences
No Spam or Self-Promotion
Do not use tempo for spam, excessive self-promotion, or commercial solicitation:
- Keep content relevant to concert experiences and music reviews
- Do not repeatedly post the same or similar content
- Do not use tempo to advertise products or services
- Do not share or sell referral codes for profit
- Artists and venues may participate authentically but should not use the platform primarily for promotion
Account Integrity
Maintain account integrity:
- Create only one account per person
- Do not impersonate other users, artists, or public figures
- Do not share your account credentials with others
- Do not create new accounts to evade bans or suspensions
- Keep your profile information accurate and appropriate
Feedback and Feature Requests
When submitting feedback or feature requests:
- Be constructive and specific in your suggestions
- Search for existing feedback before submitting duplicates
- Keep discussions on-topic and respectful
- Do not use feedback features to harass or complain about other users
Report Violations
If you encounter content or behavior that violates these guidelines:
- Use the report feature on reviews, comments, or user profiles
- Provide specific details about the violation
- Do not engage in harassment or retaliation
- False or malicious reports may result in action against your account
We take all reports seriously and will review them promptly. You will receive confirmation when we receive your report.
Consequences
Violations of these guidelines may result in:
- Content removal
- Account warnings
- Temporary account suspension
- Permanent account termination
- Badge removal
- Referral code deactivation
The severity of the consequence depends on the nature and frequency of the violation. Serious violations (harassment, hate speech, illegal activity) may result in immediate permanent suspension.
Appeals
If you believe your content was removed or your account was suspended in error, you may appeal by contacting us at support@t3mpo.app. Include your username and a detailed explanation. Appeals are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Updates
These guidelines may be updated from time to time to address new situations or clarify existing rules. We will notify users of significant changes. Continued use of tempo after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised guidelines.
