There's a feeling you get right after a great show. The lights come up, your ears are still ringing, and you're buzzing with energy. That's the moment we built tempo for.
Capturing the Moment
When I started working on the iOS experience, I kept coming back to one question: how do you design an app for someone who just walked out of a venue at midnight? The answer was to strip away friction. Quick ratings, easy photo uploads, and a flow that feels natural even when you're running on adrenaline and maybe a few drinks.
Mobile-First Thinking
We didn't build a web app and shrink it down. Every screen, every interaction was designed for your thumb first. The review flow is fast because it needs to be—you want to capture that energy before it fades. The discover features work offline-friendly because cell service at venues is notoriously terrible.
Built by Someone Who Gets It
As a DJ and jazz guitarist, I've been on both sides of the stage. I know what it's like to finish a set and wonder what the crowd actually thought. tempo bridges that gap. It gives fans a voice and artists a window into how their performances land. That's what we're building here.
Thanks for joining us on this journey. I'm looking forward to reading your show reviews and app feedback.
